Gooch's Beach
Gooch`s Beach, also known as Kennebunk Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the town of Kennebunk. This strip of beaches leads from Gooch`s to Middle and to Mothers at the most southern end. Gooch`s beach is a family friendly location and where you will also spot our Maine surfers! This beach is great for morning and afternoon walks or runs on the beach. If you go before 9:00 am you will even see lots of dogs running, playing and swimming with ease. This is called Gooch`s Pooches time and is one of the only beaches in Maine where pups can access the sand and ocean! Parking: In order to park directly on Ocean Avenue you must have a Town of Kennebunk parking pass. Beach passes are available for purchase at the Town Hall located @ 1 Summer Street, Kennebunk, ME. Even with a pass, parking is limited during the months of June-September but if you are an early riser you may be lucky! Otherwise there are a lot side street parking available on the roads behind Ocean Avenue and it is still a short walk to the beach.
Mother's Beach
Mothers Beach is located at the most southern point of Kennebunk Beach. This beach is super family friendly as it offers soft sand and a playground for children! Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association also known as KBIA is located here off of Mothers beach and is a recreational and enrichment program favorite by both locals and summer guests! Goose Rocks Beach
Goose Rocks Beach, is a public beach located in the town of Kennebunkport, Maine bordered by Cape Porpoise to southwest, and Granite Point to the northeast. Parking stickers are required for parking at Goose Rocks Beach beginning May 15 through Labor Day weekend, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Parking has changed this summer and fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the safety of all visitors and residents, parking will begin in phases. Sticker Prices are as followed: Non-Residents: Daily: $25.00 Weekly: $100.00 Seasonal: $200.00 Stickers can be purchased @ Goose Rocks Beach General Store starting June 15 (only daily non-resident stickers) Call 967-4541 or @ Town Office, 6 Elm St.- 8 AM-4:30 PM.
Colony Beach
Colony Beach is small and unique as it is a wonderful place for families with small children to enjoy the water. You can also watch the boats come in through the jettys after a long day on the water. Colony Beach has free parking but is very limited. We suggest walking there if you can!
